“The pandemic this year has surfaced many issues that have long before existed in education but are now highlighted as areas for improvement. With many students now distance learning and hybrid learning, establishing interpersonal connections are ever more challenging. It is becoming increasingly apparent that human connection, in-person communication, collaboration, and socialization are essential to schools and the success of both students and teachers. Although sometimes difficult, I believe that there are still multitudes of moments to create these connections and to engage students in their learning.”
