“It is no doubt that teaching during a pandemic is tough. There are highs and lows every day. As teachers, we are trained to go into our classroom ready for any situation. However, teaching virtually, hybrid, and with masks, is not a situation any of us ever could have anticipated. As time passes the moments spent with students have become ‘bittersweet.’ Just as in-person, typical teaching, I look forward to logging in every day and experiencing my students’ energy to pick me up and give me motivation. In an uncertain time, we are all relying on the consistency of our classrooms (whatever platform they may be utilizing right now) to push us through.”
