“When we left school on Thursday, March 12, we would never have expected that in less than a week’s time we would have completely reconfigured education as we had once known it. Our students went from individualized, hands-on materials to Google Classroom assignments and Zoom calls. Even though it was a time of uncertainty and worry, our teachers’ resilience and passion remained a constant even when we were uncertain ourselves. Through the many trials and tribulations, schedule changes, and ‘reply-all’ emails, the work of teachers during the pandemic can never be erased.”
